St. Andrews International School Bangkok, a Nord Anglia Education School, was founded in 1997 on an attractive, conveniently located site on Sukhumvit 71 which today is home to our Primary School. Our High School (Year 7 to Year 13) delivers state of the art purpose-built learning facilities and is located 200 meters from the BTS Ekkamai station. Across the school, we now have more than 2,000 students representing 58 nationalities ranging from Foundation Stage 1 (2 years old) to Year 13 (18 years old). Our school provides a high quality, professional, well-resourced learning environment where each child’s talents and abilities are recognised and nurtured, and their needs supported. Our teachers are professional and caring, selected for their awareness of the needs of a broad range of children who may come from different social, cultural, religious and educational backgrounds. We are an inclusive school that welcomes students of all abilities. To ensure that all our children have an equality of opportunity, we have a professional Learning Support Department. This team works with class teachers to identify and support children in their learning across the school, whether they need extra help with their studies or have been identified as gifted and talented. The curriculum draws on the best UK practices, adapted to reflect the international context of the school. Students take IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11 and then follow the Senior Studies Programme in Years 12 and 13. Our school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, alongside an alternative school-based curriculum, both of which lead to graduation and provide the opportunity to apply to prestigious universities all around the world.
